Belgium – Trixxo acquires Belgium-based Staffing

Trixxo, a Belgium-based company active in service checks with domestic workers, in home care, HR and training, announced that it has acquired  Beringen-based staffing firm Staffing, which ranked 35th in SIA’s List of Largest Staffing Firms in Belgium for 2017.

Trixxo, also operates Trixxo Jobs, and per the company, with this acquisition, Trixxo Jobs will become a ‘major player’ in the temporary employment sector.

"With this acquisition we can now also announce our ambitions in the temporary employment sector. We want to become one of the big players in this sector within five years. We have drawn up an ambitious growth plan for this, " Luc Jeurissen, CEO of Trixxo said.

MadeinLimburg.be reports that Trixxo Jobs had a reported turnover of €20 million while Staffing had a turnover of €26 million. Trixxo’s service check department, which is its main business, last reported turnover of €125 million and now Trixxo’s leadership says the group will aim for a total turnover of €200 million in 2019 with this latest acquisition.

“The goal is to double this department (Trixxo Jobs) within three years", Jeurissen said. "We still see plenty of opportunities to profile ourselves in the market in a different way."

Staffing says that since 2004 it has been specialising in matching companies with temporary vacancies and candidate temporary workers looking for a new job. The group was previously known as Z-Staffing until it rebranded in 2016.

No further financial details were disclosed.
