SIA Explores ‘Workforce Solutions for an Uncertain Time’ at CWS Summit in Singapore

Mountain View, California & London, UK — June 26, 2017 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) has announced the full programme for the 2017 Contingent Workforce Strategies (CWS) Summit Asia Pacific:Workforce Solutions for an Uncertain Time, taking place in Singapore this July.

Now in its fourth year, the annual CWS Summit Asia Pacific is the premier conference for HR and Procurement professionals from Asia Pacific’s largest organisations. This year’s event brings recent global developments and the rapid changes impacting the world of work and the talent landscape into sharp focus.

In a TED Talks-style approach to aligning workforce programme activities for success on the path ahead, the introductory keynote session speaks to Success in Trying Times and welcomes a selection of thought-leaders to offer viewpoints. Nilashis Coomar, Procurement Leader, Strategic Sourcing & Operations, Cisco, will share how to Drive Business Value Through Procurement Analytics;  Michael Benyamin, Chief Consulting & Business Development Officer, Brightfield Strategies, journeys to The Next Frontier in Managing Labour Spend; and SIA’s Bryan Peña, SVP Contingent Workforce Strategies, goes in depth into The Uncertain Future Workforce: How to Succeed in an Era of Disruption.

Ross Dawson, Futurist, Author, Entrepreneur and Founding Chairman of Future Exploration, will deliver the guest keynote address, delving into Creating the Future Workforce: Leading Your Organisation Through Rapid Change.

The conference will also feature tracked sessions around the themes of Preparing for Change and Evolving & Innovative, with sessions providing an intensive look at flexible workforce solutions from varied perspectives, and covering areas such as MSP/VMS implementation, pricing strategies, RPO and latest SIA research findings. The agenda offers dedicated networking and discussion sessions, and delegates are invited to interact in a special CWS Connect Roundtable Reception in which participants explore the potential differences between local and international programme operations and the unique issues specific to the region, including around Talent Acquisition, Programme Adoption, Legislation, Driving Value, Technology, and Total Talent Acquisition.

“Labour markets across the globe are being impacted by tremendous change. The current shifts—demographic, economic, cultural and technological— extend both the challenges and the appreciable opportunities around flexible workforce programmes,” said Barry Asin, President of SIA. “CWS Summit Asia Pacific presents leading insights for strengthening talent management and brings global executives together to understand and prepare for the future of work.”

CWS Summit Asia Pacific:Workforce Solutions for an Uncertain Time will be held 18-19 July at Grand Hyatt Singapore.
