10 May 2023

Staffing Industry Analysts’ CWS Summit Europe 2023 kicked off its second day today in London and will conclude with a keynote and sessions sharing valuable insights into the changing world of contingent work.

SIA’s Vice President of the CWS Council Dawn McCartney opened CWS Summit 2023 yesterday with her keynote session, ‘Preparing Your Contingent Workforce Programme for Success in Uncertain Times.’

CWS Summit 2023 Day 2 began today with a Networking Breakfast & Exhibits Open followed by concurrent sessions throughout the day. Ben Saunders, Record-Breaking Polar Explorer, TED Master Storyteller & Climate Tech Advisor, will lead the keynote ‘Being the Only Authority on Your Potential’, today.

Saunder’s story of self-belief is fused with practical and applicable lessons that apply to business leaders in their organisations, how to thrive in uncertainty, on getting difficult things done in difficult environments, building and managing teams, preparing meticulously, knowing when to pivot, and fulfilling individual and organisational potential, no matter how steep the odds may appear.

Two sessions will round out the conference including ‘CWS Summit Family Fortunes’ which will see ‘two family’ teams go head-to-head to predict the most popular answers to industry related questions asked to delegates prior to the conference, similar to the TV show.

The last session, ‘Closing Speed Session: 30 Great Ideas From CWS Summit’, the immensely popular and fast-paced speed session, will see SIA experts share 30 key learnings, insights, and ideas from the CWS Summit in 30 minutes.

CWS Summit 2023 had 575 qualified delegates registered, the largest CWS Summit Europe on record. Over 289 companies from 20 countries were represented.
