Recruitment firm PageGroup (MPI: LSE) announced today that Rene Berende has been appointed to the position of Group Chief Information Officer (CIO). Mr Berende joined PageGroup in March 2014 as Regional IT Director.

Responsible for over 400 staff, Mr Berende had strong international experience having lived and worked in many countries across Europe; including Italy, the Netherlands, and France.   

PageGroup CEO, Steve Ingham, commented: “Rene brings a very practical, pragmatic, straightforward and commercial approach to technology. He has thoroughly impressed the members of the Executive Board since he joined the company earlier this year.”  

“I am confident that Rene will provide strong leadership for Business Technology, a clear vision and strategy, as well as a successful rollout of our internal recruiting system to the majority of PageGroup in 2015,” Mr Ingham added.
