Capita (CPI: LSE), a provider of business process outsourcing solutions and professional support services, has acquired Isys Group, a Swindon-based workforce management software solutions company.

This marks Capita’s second acquisition in recent months, following its purchase of employer branding and engagement firm ThirtyThree in March.

Isys Group specialises in time and attendance systems, workforce scheduling, HR systems, and employee screening.

The company has also developed an ID verification software solutions, Intelligent Identity, that enables clients to carry out due diligence on potential employees.

Sean Massey, managing director of Capita’s secure software and technology business, commented: “Isys Group has developed its best of breed applications of 15 years. The acquisition is a great strategic fit with Capita’s existing markets and portfolio of solutions and services.”

“It will enhance our capabilities and create new opportunities to deliver services to our clients; such as automatically feeing information about employee attendance and hours directly into their payroll systems.”

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
