Korn/Ferry Revenue Up 27%

Korn/Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) reported fee revenue rose 27.1 percent to $186.5 million in its fiscal third quarter ended Jan. 31. On a constant currency basis, fee revenue rose 28 percent.

The Los Angeles-based executive recruiter reported North American executive search revenue rose 35.3 percent to $95.0 million in the third quarter.

The Asia Pacific and South America regions also reported strong revenue growth, at 23.9 percent and 31.0 percent, respectively, while revenue in Europe, the Middle East and Africa region grew by 9.3 percent.

"I continue to be pleased with our performance," said CEO Gary Burnison. "The past 90 days brought with it our seventh consecutive quarter of fee revenue growth. We have rebounded substantially faster than the industry."

At Korn/Ferry's Futurestep division, which provides mid-level recruitment and recruitment process outsourcing, third-quarter fee revenue rose 32.8 percent to $23.3 million.

Third-quarter net income was $14.0 million, a 76.7 percent jump from the prior-year quarter of $7.9 million.
