Fusion Medical Staffing added two new members to its executive leadership team. Chief Clinical Officer Amber Barna is responsible for strategic management of the clinical and compliance departments. She has more than 20 years of experience, working most recently as VP of clinical and quality services of Medical Solutions. Chief Commercial Officer Nate Blessen is responsible for business strategy, growth and external relationships with clients, healthcare facilities and service providers. He also leads the MSP business Fusion Workforce. He brings 20 years of experience and previously served as the senior executive director of cardiovascular care, orthopedics and sports medicine at Sanford Health. Fusion’s three brands include Fusion Medical Staffing, Fusion Marketplace and Fusion Workforce Solutions.

Travel nurse staffing firm OneStaff Medical hired Mike Vaughn as chief financial officer, a newly created role at the company. Vaughn has more than 25 years of experience in finance and business operations with a heavy focus on international operations. Vaughn comes to the Omaha, Nebraska-based company from Behlen Manufacturing Co.

Healthcare staffing firm Supplemental Health Care named Gary Cornick as chief client officer, overseeing client engagement and business development as well as driving growth and strategy. Cornick previously served as general manager of workforce solutions at Trusted Health.

Jackson Healthcare, a family of healthcare staffing, search and technology companies, promoted Brad Chason to senior VP of information technology. Chason joined Jackson in 2010 and has more than 20 years of technology leadership experience

Triage Staffing, an Omaha, Nebraska-based healthcare staffing firm, named Kris Knudsen as VP of strategic partnerships. Knudsen has also been named to the 2022 Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list. She had served as director of strategic partnerships.

Tribal Health, a firm providing healthcare consulting and staffing in underserved communities, announced Joe Buckley will be VP of healthcare staffing to help provide healthcare professionals on Indigenous lands. Buckley has more than 25 years of experience. He joined Tribal Health in 2021 as director of recruiting. Prior to Tribal Health, Buckley had served as VP of recruiting for Merritt Hawkins and as VP of physician recruiting for AMN Healthcare Services Inc.

MedHQ, a provider of healthcare staffing and other services, appointed Erik Miller as president and general manager. Miller has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, most recently serving as interim president of Anesthesia Medicine at Ventra Health as well as serving as the company’s chief strategy and business development officer.

Nucleus Healthcare last year hired Paige Hill as chief marketing officer and this month hired Noressa Kennedy Hinkler as senior director of marketing. Hill was at Vise and eMoney prior to joining Nucleus. Kennedy Hinkler previously served at Travel Nurse Across America, most recently as director of marketing and communications.

Healthcare staffing firm Alois appointed Scott Shelander as president and CEO. Shelander will drive the strategic direction and growth of Alois. He previously served as president and chief operating officer at Amare Medical Network.

American Health Staffing Group, AHSG, appointed Di Smalley to its board. Smalley is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Smalley’s experience includes more than a decade as CEO of Mercy Health System of Oklahoma. She also served as senior VP of workforce solutions for the entire Mercy system and was instrumental in the selection and implementation of an MSP and VMS.

Continuum Health IT, a healthcare IT consulting and staffing company headquartered in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, added Rebecca Manne as the executive VP of EHR implementation, providing executive oversight for operational readiness, advisory and training, and leadership for go-live projects. Manne previously served as executive VP at Optimum Healthcare IT and brings more than 45 years of clinical and operational experience to the role. She will report to Jeff Macko, president of the company.
