AMN Healthcare Inc. (NYSE: AMN), the largest US healthcare staffing firm, appointed Bernard Godley, MD, PhD, as lead physician executive for the company’s leadership and search solutions division. Godley comes to AMN from global executive search and organizational consulting firm Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY), where he was a senior client partner representing its Academic Health Center Practice. Prior to Korn Ferry, he was professor and chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASDAQ: CCRN) announced Dr. Janice E. Nevin, MD, MPH, has been elected to serve as a board member, effective May 19; Richard Mastaler retired from the board on the same date. Nevin has been president and CEO of ChristianaCare since 2015. She is chair of the strategic planning committee of America’s Essential Hospitals and is also on other boards. Cross Country ranks on SIA’s 2019 list of largest healthcare staffing firms in the US.

Cejka Search, a division of Cross Country Healthcare (NASDAQ: CCRN), named John Elffers as VP of executive search services. Elffers’ prior roles included regional VP of Cross Country Search; he has more than 25 years of experience.
