Cejka Executive Search, the healthcare executive and physician search division of Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASD: CCRN), announced Mary D’Ignazio joined the firm as executive VP and managing principal, effective Sept. 19.

D’Ignazio most recently was managing director for Diversified Search, a Philadelphia-based executive search firm. She has also worked with a small boutique retained firm specializing in non-profits, a Fortune 500 company, and an academic research institution as well as having owned and operated her own business.

“Regardless of where the incoming presidential administration takes healthcare reform, the need for innovative healthcare leaders capable of navigating organizations into the future state of healthcare delivery remains strong,” said Paul Esselman, senior executive VP and managing principal of Cejka Executive Search.

D’Ignazio is based in Philadelphia.
