Fusion Healthcare Staffing LLC appointed Paul Sorensen as chairman. Sorensen formerly served as president of The Select Family of Companies, which merged with EmployBridge last year. He left Select and EmployBridge this spring.

“Paul has a tremendous amount of staffing industry knowledge and contacts, and will be instrumental in helping us achieve our corporate strategic goals,” said board member and CFO Jarin Dana. “We are very excited for what he can bring to our team.”

The chairman role is a new position at Fusion, and Sorensen is the first outsider to sit on the board of the privately held firm that is based in Sandy, Utah.

Fusion provides locum tenens emergency medicine, hospitalist and psychiatrist physicians. Founded in 2013, the company has a nationwide footprint and 20 internal employees at its Utah headquarters.
