The US has reached enough electronic registrations for H-1B visas to reach the caps on the visa for the 2025 federal fiscal year, US Citizenship and Immigration Services reported April 1. The visas are capped at 65,000 with another 20,000 available for those with US advanced degrees. H-1B visas allow US employers to bring in highly skilled foreign workers, such as IT workers, on a temporary basis.
