April 04, 2011

The United Kingdom's Competition Appeal Tribunal has reduced a fine imposed on CDI Corp. by the U.K. Office of Fair Trading in September 2009, CDI reported today in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The U.K. Competition Appeal Tribunal reduced the fine to GBP1.5 million (US$2.4 million) from GBP7.6 million (US$12.3 million). CDI's third-quarter 2009 earnings included a charge to reserve the full amount of the original fine; net loss for that quarter was $12.2 million.
