Business software firm SAP reported revenue in its “business networks” segment, which includes VMS provider SAP Fieldglass, rose 18% on a constant currency basis to €615 million (US$736.7 million). Gross margin improved two percentage points to 77%, SAP reported in its fourth-quarter earnings release.

It reported SAP Fieldglass customers manage more than 4.3 million contingent workers in more than 180 countries, and UBS chose to use SAP Fieldglass in the fourth quarter, SAP reported today. SAP Fieldglass customers managed more than 3.9 million contingent workers, according to the company’s third-quarter report. SAP Fieldglass had more than 3.1 million flexible workers in 135 countries, according to its report for the fourth quarter of 2016.
