Providing disability-related workplace accommodations to temporary employees: Who is responsible? (The National Law Review)

Both the staffing agency and the staffing buyer could bear responsibility when a temporary worker requests a disability accommodation if they are acting as “joint employers” under the Americans with Disabilities Act, according to The National Law Review. The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission addressed this issue in an enforcement guidance on the application of the ADA to temporary and other contingent workers.
