People on the move: Employ, Judge, goLance, PoliHire, RefAssured and Vaco

Employ Inc. announced that Steve Cox has taken over the role of CEO effective April 1. Cox has more than 25 years of leadership experience. Cox most recently served as chief operating officer of Community Brands, a provider of B2B software and payment solutions. Prior to that, he held roles at firms such as Vertafore, Chess and TSG. Cox took over from former CEO Pete Lamson. Employ Inc. is the parent company of JazzHR, Lever, Jobvite and NXTThing RPO.

The Judge Group, a Wayne, Pennsylvania-headquartered staffing provider, appointed Charlton Monsanto as executive VP of integrated services and innovation. Monsanto has held leadership positions at corporations such as Capgemini, LiquidHub and Prudential Fox and Roach.

Talent platform goLance named Brian Childress as chief technical officer. Childress has 15 years of experience in technical product development and software engineering. His previous roles were at firms such as Calendly, Capital One and WealthForge.

PoliHire, an executive search and consulting firm based in Washington, DC, announced two hires. James Banks will serve as senior director and general counsel. Banks has 25 years in the legal industry and most recently served as general counsel at the Society of Human Resource Management. Prior to that, his career included work at the city of Alexandria, Seyfarth Shaw, McGuire Woods and the US Army. PoliHire also named Marcia Thompson as senior advisor. Thompson is an attorney and has more than 20 years of experience in law enforcement, change management, justice reform, DE&I and organization management. She has previously worked with Amazon, the University of Chicago Police Department and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement.

RefAssured Inc., a provider of automated reference checks, appointed Aravinda “Vinda” Souza as chief marketing officer. Souza has nearly 20 years of experience running corporate marketing and public relations for tech companies. She spent almost 10 years at Bullhorn, where she ran content marketing, PR, analyst relations and more.

Global staffing firm Vaco named Dallas Peterson as managing partner of its Seattle office. Peterson has 11 years of experience in the talent solutions industry.
