MBO Partners hired John Dahlberg as VP of solutions design. He most recently served as senior director of enterprise architecture for Allegis Global Solutions. MBO provides contractor management services including a freelancer management system. It also provides back office services for independent consultants.

Ciber Inc. (NYSE: CBR), a Greenwood, Colo.-based IT staffing and solutions firm, announced Stephen Kurtz resigned from the company’s board of directors, effective last Tuesday, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Kurtz, CEO of MuscleSound LLC, joined Ciber’s board in December 2007. In 2014, he became chairman of the compensation committee and a member of the board’s audit committee.

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) named Catherine Lepard as head of the Americas retail practice. Lepard joined the firm 11 years ago and has more than 20 years of experience working with leaders in the retail sector. She is a partner in Heidrick’s Chicago office and also a member of the firm’s global consumer markets practice specializing in board, CEO and executive leadership roles. 

Morgan Samuels, an executive search provider, announced Linda Eskind Rebrovick joined the firm as senior client partner. She will co-lead the firm’s healthcare practice and lead the Nashville market. Prior to joining Morgan Samuels, Rebrovick was a candidate for the office of mayor, Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County government, and was CEO of Consensus Point. Her business and board experience includes more than 25 years as an executive officer, five years as an entrepreneur and 20 years serving as a board director.
