People: Lyft, BG Staffing, Heidrick, LandrumHR, MRINetwork, ZRG and more

Human cloud, ride-sharing firm Lyft named former Tesla executive Jon McNeill as chief operating officer, Lyft announced the hire in a blog post. McNeill had served as president of global sales and service at Tesla. Prior to that, McNeill background includes starting and operating eight technology and retail companies. He began his career at Bain & Co.

BG Staffing Inc. (NYSE MKT: BGSF) announced Dan Hollenbach, CFO and secretary of the Plano, Texas-based staffing firm, returned from a temporary medical leave of absence and has resumed his management duties and responsibilities, effective last Monday, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. In connection with Hollenbach’s return, Robert Weinrich relinquished his duties as interim CFO and secretary.

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) named Andrew LeSueur — formerly managing director of leadership consulting in the Americas — as managing director of its new global consulting business, which combines the firm’s leadership consulting and culture shaping businesses into a single integrated line of advisory services. David Clary joined the firm as COO of Heidrick Consulting; he previously was senior VP - client services for Procurian, a business unit within Accenture. Colin Price, who had been managing partner, leadership consulting, will focus on client service as part of Heidrick Consulting, as well as further developing the firm’s intellectual property and thought leadership. Partners Karla Martin and Barbara Spitzer, as well as Prinicpal Shaloo Kakkar Kulkarni also joined Heidrick Consulting.

LandrumHR, a Pensacola, Fla.-based PEO and staffing provider, promoted David McCullough to chief administrative officer. The expanded role will include oversight of the company’s IT, marketing, and client relations functions. McCullough joined the company in mid-2017 as CTO.

MRINetwork, a subsidiary of CDI Corp., announced new franchisees opened four branches under individual brand names: Amanda Sell-Sande, Julison Sell Search Team in Bellingham, Wash., banking; Greg Asztalos, Tekton Search in Norcross, Ga., medical devices and healthcare IT; Willson Herrera, Herrera Gaffney Executive Search in Burlington, Mass., accounting and finance; and Andrew Katz, Linda Schatz and Danielle Espinosa, ALD Search Partners in Woodbury, NY, healthcare leadership.

True Talent Advisory added John Foster as chief people officer. Prior to founding Gamut Labs, an advisor to startups on talent and culture, Foster led global HR at Hulu and was also the chief human resources officer at IDEO. True Talent Advisory’s subsidiaries include executive search firm True Search; leadership development products and services firm Synthesis; talent relationship management software provider Thrive; and Foundation Talent, for recruitment services below the executive level.

Executive search firm ZRG Partners Inc. added Patrick Prout as managing director and the practice leader for banking, to support the firm’s growth in the financial services sector. Prout’s career includes president and COO, and vice chairman of Bank One, Cleveland.

Kingsley Gate Partners, a global executive search firm, announced Alison Woodhead joined the company as a senior partner, based out of its Los Angeles office. Woodhead previously was a senior client partner at executive search provider Morgan Samuels and earlier in her career worked in brand management and marketing roles at The Walt Disney Co.

The Caldwell Partners International Inc. (TSX: CWL), a Toronto-based executive search firm, promoted three individuals in its New York office to the role of principal. Kristin Sheridan joined Caldwell from CTPartners in 2015 as a consultant focused on the legal, risk and regulatory oversight space; she will continue to work in legal, risk and compliance. Liz Bernich joined Caldwell in 2009 with its acquisition of Cromwell Partners; she will help expand Caldwell’s existing presence within investment management and private equity. Peter Anselmo also joined Caldwell from CTPartners in 2015; he will focus on expanding the firm’s reach into IT services.
