People: IDR, Lucas, Penrhyn, Artisan Talent

IDR Inc., an IT staffing firm headquartered in Atlanta, named Jeff Holmes as chief operations officer. This is a new position within the company. He will assume responsibility for day-to-day operations and report directly to founder and CEO Eric French. Holmes previously spent 10 years with Allegis Group — the past six leading MSP operations at Allegis Global Solutions as MSP operations director.

Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, tapped Nick Trowbridge to lead its human resources branch in Chicago as managing partner. Trowbridge joined Lucas Group in 2011 as an executive search consultant.

Penrhyn International, an international network of retained executive search firms, appointed Michael Herst as its new chairman. Herst, a partner at UK member firm Osprey Clarke, joined the Penrhyn board in 2012 and previously served as both treasurer and vice chairman. He replaces outgoing Chair Connie Adair, managing partner of US member Taylor Winfield. And Charles Lew, founding partner of US member firm Coleman Lew + Associates, was elected to the board of directors as treasurer. Both were nominated and elected during the Penrhyn International AGM in Paris earlier this month.

Artisan Talent announced Managing Director Nena Girsch will head its new office in Denver. Girsch will be joined by recruiters Lauren Ray and Traci Schubert. Artisan Talent is an interactive, digital, marketing and creative staffing agency.
