Randstad US and AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AMN) announced a partnership. Kelly Services Inc. (NASDAQ: KELYA, KELYB) introduced a human cloud platform aggregator. Alexander Mann Solutions announced its new Hourly platform for hiring hourly workers. And Trusted Healthcare has begun a partnership with the Ohio State University College of Nursing aimed at bolstering nurses’ mental health amid Covid-19.

Randstad and AMN announce go-to-market partnership

Randstad US and AMN Healthcare Services Inc. announced a go-to-market partnership to enable the companies to team up and sell AMN’s clinical staffing to clients along with Randstad’s nonclinical staffing offerings.

Either company can lead the go-to-market efforts depending on the customer. AMN would take the lead in clinical settings; however, Randstad has relationships with varied companies that use healthcare and other types of staffing such as biotech and pharmaceutical firms where it might lead the go-to-market efforts.

The effort is described as a partnership of equals.

The companies are starting the partnership with an open talent marketplace for healthcare aimed at providing state coalitions, federal agencies and healthcare systems with rapid access to talent as the Covid-19 crisis rages on.

Kelly Services announces human cloud platform aggregator

Kelly Services announced a human cloud platform aggregator that uses a client’s pre-existing MSP to integrate with freelance work platforms. It allows for a single user interface to access human cloud platforms. It aims to help companies avoid a piecemeal approach of searching separate platforms for talent.

“The Kelly Human Cloud centralizes and standardizes the various platforms used by on-demand talent and manages the entire hiring process from connecting HR with talent, to defining the scope of the job and getting people to work,” said Tammy Browning, senior VP, global operations, for KellyOCG.

Freelance work platforms that are launch partners in the aggregator are Business Talent Group, Toptal, The Mom Project and 99designs.

Alexander Mann Solutions introduces Hourly

Alexander Mann Solutions, a supplier of MSP and RPO services, announced its new online platform Hourly, which enables companies to hire hourly workers.

Hourly is the first product by Alexander Mann’s product division, which was formed when it acquired Karen HR, a Toronto-based technology company, in 2019. Karen HR uses Karen AI, a cognitive recruiting assistant that integrates with applicant tracking systems.

Hourly aims to let companies hire hourly workers faster and with greater precision. 

Trusted Health rolls out nurse mental health partnership

Nurse staffing platform Trusted Health announced it partnered with the Ohio State University College of Nursing to create a program to support the mental health of nurses. Pilot versions of the program will be in New York and Michigan.

Under the program, nurses employed by Trusted Health who are working in facilities with Covid-19 patients will have access to an emotional support line staffed by a nurse practioner faculty, including mental health experts and supervised students. The faculty and students will review stressors with callers and offer coping strategies and stress-reduction techniques.

Nurses who call the emotional support line may then opt to participate in a wellness support partnership program supported by the College of Nursing for a period of four or eight weeks.
