NATHO aims to streamline staffing data entry

February 23, 2010

The National Association of Travel Healthcare Organizations launched a technology committee that will look into cutting the amount of time and money required for entering data.

The committee aims to develop a connectivity software standard so staffing firms won't have to manually enter candidate data into a VMS firm's database and also manually enter job order information from the VMS firm's database into their own, according to NATHO.

"This software connectivity standard will allow healthcare staffing firms to largely eliminate an extremely tedious and manual part of our industry, thereby allowing staffing firms to better focus their time and resources serving clients and candidates, rather than entering data," said NATHO President Mark Stagen.
