Malone Workforce Solutions acquired Nextaff LLC, a franchise-model staffing agency based in Kansas City.

The transaction was completed Aug. 1; terms were not disclosed.

Nextaff will continue to operate under the current brand and the franchise business model as a division of Malone Workforce Solutions, which is based in Louisville, Ky. All of Nextaff’s executives will remain with their current titles.

The acquisition adds four new states and nine additional branch locations to Malone’s physical footprint and increases Malone locations to 37 offices throughout 12 states.

Nextaff primarily provides light industrial and admin/clerical services, while Malone targets the light industrial, hospitality, admin/clerical, professional and healthcare industries.

Malone currently counts 180 internal employees and approximately 5,000 associates on assignment weekly, while Nextaff has approximately 500 placements on assignment.

Malone is actively pursuing additional acquisitions as part of its growth plan, targeting light industrial, healthcare and IT opportunities.
