Lystable rebrands to Kalo

May 30, 2017

Freelancer management platform Lystable changed its name to Kalo. The firm made the announcement last month in a post on Medium by founder and CEO Peter Johnson, a former designer for Google and ad giant M&C Saatchi in London.

The company was founded in 2014 in London. It has raised $25 million from marquee investors including PayPal co-founders Max Levchin and Peter Thiel, CNBC reported.

“As we continued to develop this complete end-to-end platform solving the problems I experienced personally, we realized that the brand Lystable started to make less sense,” Johnson wrote in the blog post.

“The company had evolved beyond solving the first problem of, ‘Who are the best freelancers we’ve worked with before and how do we get them onboarded asap?’ It had expanded to encompass the entire freelance experience —  from integrations right through to payment.”
