Labor Source Holdings LLC, a portfolio company of private equity firm Great Range Capital, announced last month that it acquired Power Labor LLC, a staffing firm specializing in skilled commercial construction labor.

Power Labor is headquartered in Austin, Texas, and has offices in Dallas, San Antonio and Houston.

“The addition will bring even more diversity to our growing portfolio in this niche industry, and we look forward to providing additional staffing solutions to our clients,” said Brad Chesin, CEO of Labor Source. Chesin will serve as CEO of Power Labor as well.

Power Labor’s founder and president, Brian Cherry, will continue with the company as regional VP and manage day-to-day operations.

Labor Source is based in Olathe, Kansas, and operates the One Source Staffing and Labor and Catstaff brands, which provide restoration and emergency response staffing services.
