Kavaliro, an IT staffing company based in Orlando, Fla., sold its unit, A.B. Closing Corp., to the unit’s CEO, effective Jan. 21. A.B. Closing does business as Knight Federal Solutions.

Now operating independently as Knight Federal Solutions Inc., the company provides project management, software development and intelligence analysis to the defense sector. It also currently supports Department of Defense entities specializing in live, virtual, and constructive simulation and training.

With the buyout from Kavaliro, Knight Federal Solutions acquires more than $5 million in revenue and increases its staff to more than 50 employees. Chris Baeten, CEO of Knight Federal Solutions, becomes the sole owner of the company.
