KForce promotes COO, CMO execs

Professional staffing firm Kforce Inc. (NASD: KFRC) reported Jeffrey Neal, chief operations officer, West, assumed the role of chief marketing officer of the company, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Additionally, Kye Mitchell, COO, West, assumed the role of COO of Kforce Inc. and will be responsible for all sales and delivery functions for the company’s technology and finance and accounting businesses.

Both transitions took effect March 11.

Mitchell joined Kforce in 2005 through the acquisition of VistaRMS. She was president and one of the founders of VistaRMS, an IT consulting firm targeting the federal, financial and telecommunications industries. Mitchell joined the industry in 1991, working for DMR Trecom prior to VistaRMS.

Neal joined Kforce through its merger with Hall Kinion, where he served as senior VP for major accounts and the central region. He began his staffing industry career with Oxford and Associates in the Silicon Valley, joining Hall Kinion in 1994. Prior to that, he held management positions at a consumer sales and marketing firm.
