Hire Dynamics names new CEO, announces recapitalization

April 29, 2016

Hire Dynamics LLC, an Atlanta-based staffing company, announced a new CEO and the completion of a recapitalization by MSouth Equity Partners.

Larry Feinstein succeeds company co-founder Dan Campbell as CEO, effective May 15. Feinstein currently serves as senior VP at ADP (NASD: ADP).

Campbell will remain with the company as executive chairman. He is included in Staffing Industry Analysts’ Staffing 100 list of most influential people in the industry and served on the board of the American Staffing Association for 10 years, including as chairman in 2014.

“Larry Feinstein is a successful, culture-driven professional and we are thrilled he is joining Hire Dynamics to lead us in our next level of growth and expansion,” Campbell said. “Larry’s experience, management philosophy and personal values are a great match for our company. I am confident he will build on our reputation for servant leadership with our employees and quality service to both clients and talent.”

Feinstein spent 26 years at ADP and most recently managed its human resources outsourcing, where he was responsible for a global business serving more than 8,000 clients and 800,000 employees.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to join the Hire Dynamics leadership team,” Feinstein said. “The leadership team, culture of attracting top talent, delivering great service and giving back to the community is what I have admired about Hire Dynamics. It is also a great fit with my values.”

Separately, the recapitalization closed April 25. Specific terms were not disclosed but the deal was structured as an owner-operator recapitalization, allowing the company’s management to retain ownership in the business. Hire Dynamics co-founder and CFO Jon Neff will continue in his role, as will Executive VP Kim Wallace and Chief People Officer Sonya Buckley.

Msouth acquired a majority equity interest, while Campbell remains the largest individual shareholder, according to Neff.

Founded in 2001 by Campbell and Neff, Hire Dynamics operates 12 branch offices and 22 on-site locations throughout the Southeast and places an average of 4,500 people to work weekly. It targets contact (call) centers, manufacturing facilities, logistics/e-commerce operations and office support. It’s also on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of fastest-growing staffing firms.

“This next phase of growth for Hire Dynamics is an exciting time for our company and our people,” Campbell said. “MSouth’s industry expertise and quality reputation for working with management teams was a natural fit for us. Their substantial capital and M&A experience will allow us to scale our business while building on our strengths of industry-leading internal employees providing superior service to our clients and jobs that matter for our talent.”
