Revenue rose in the first quarter Paris-based Groupe Crit, the parent company of Indiana-based staffing firm Peoplelink. First-quarter revenue rose 4.8% to €564.6 million (US$695.5 million). The increase was 6.5% after currency and other adjustments.

However, first-quarter revenue fell 8.2% in the company’s international operations to €111.1 million (US$136.9 million). Spanish revenue in the division rose while US revenue fell.

Staffing and recruitment revenue in France rose 8.2% on an organic basis to €359.2 million (US$442.5 million).

Shares in Groupe Crit were down 1.11% to €89.00 at the close of market today in Europe. The company had a market cap of €1.00 billion.
