FaithSearch Partners, a Dallas-based executive search firm for faith-based organizations, merged with Halftime Talent Solutions, a company specializing in leadership searches for mission-motivated nonprofit and for-profit clients. The deal broadens FaithSearch Partners’ search capabilities to ministries and not-for-profits.

Halftime Talent Solutions CEO Greg Barnes will become president of FaithSearch’s Mission Enterprise division.

The transaction was structured as a merger, with FaithSearch Partners Inc. as the surviving entity, according to FaithSearch Partners CEO Ed Fry. The transaction closed in January.

“The team at Halftime Talent has a deep network and history of positively impacting the faith-based community through quality retained search, leadership succession consulting, and board prospect sourcing,” Fry said. “We look forward to serving clients old and new through this partnership.”

FaithSearch conducted 35 searches in 2017 and posted $2 million in revenue. It counts 18 internal staff in eight locations nationwide.  Halftime had $700,000 in 2017 revenue and conducted 24 searches. It’s 10 internal staff were all based out of its Dallas office.
