CTG names new CEO

July 22, 2016

Computer Task Group Inc. (NASD: CTG), a Buffalo, NY-based IT staffing provider, appointed Arthur “Bud” Crumlish as the company’s president and CEO, effective Thursday. Crumlish will also serve on the board.

Former CEO Cliff Bleustein resigned by mutual agreement with the board; the former Dell executive had served as CEO of CTG since April 2015.

CTG also reported today that it expects second-quarter revenue of $83.5 million, below guidance provided in April of estimated revenue of between $85 million and $87 million. CTG is scheduled to release full second-quarter results on July 26.

Crumlish has worked at CTG for 25 years and for the past 15 years headed its staffing business. Since July 2001 he has served as senior VP and general manager of Strategic Staffing Services, CTG’s largest business unit. Crumlish was also instrumental in the company’s healthcare and strategic staffing combined selling efforts over the past year.

“The high quality IT services that CTG provides through our healthcare, staffing, European, and diversified industrials business units represent a strong framework on which we will build our future success and sustainable growth,” he said. “CTG’s healthcare and managed IT staffing business maintains strong relationships in the United States and Europe, and I look forward to continuing to serve all of our clients’ extensive IT needs.”

The company expects to record approximately $1.0 million in severance charges during the third quarter of 2016 related to Bleustein’s resignation.

CTG ranks No. 18 on Staffing Industry Analyst’s list of largest US IT staffing firms.
