Adecco selling Soliant Health business for $612 million

November 05, 2019

The Adecco Group is selling Soliant Health, its US healthcare staffing business, for $612 million to private equity firm Olympus Partners.

“Soliant is an excellent business but with limited scope to expand outside the US market, which has unique healthcare market dynamics,” CEO Alain Dehaze said.

Soliant Health had revenue of $344 million in the 12 months ended June 30. The deal is expected to close by the first quarter of 2020.

Olympus had acquired another staffing firm, Vaco, in November 2017. Olympus was also an investor in AMN Healthcare Inc., which went public in 2001 and is now the largest healthcare staffing firm in the US.

“Soliant is a strong business that has thrived inside of The Adecco Group and we are pleased to have reached an agreement that we believe will unlock value for both the group, and Soliant,” said David Alexander, head of Soliant Health.

Adecco also announced earnings today.
