24 Seven acquires marketing/creative staffing firm Filter

April 11, 2024

Marketing/creative staffing firm 24 Seven acquired Filter, a Seattle-based creative staffing firm that was owned by Dentsu, a large Tokyo-based advertising and public relations firm.

“Together, we can expand the innovative managed services we provide to clients, including embedded teams, on-site agencies, consulting and fully outsourced solutions,” 24 Seven CEO Anthony Donnarumma said in a press release.

Based in New York, 24 Seven ranks as the third-largest marketing/creative staffing firm in the US. The acquisition of Filter marks 24 Seven’s eighth acquisition as a company. Its other recent acquisitions include McKinley Marketing Partners and The Cydio Group.

The deal closed April 4.

“We’re excited to join the 24 Seven team to continue that evolution, expand the managed service offering and match clients with the talent and solutions needed in today’s ever-changing market,” Andy Keck, managing director of Filter, said in a press statement.

Plans call for the filter brand to remain going forward. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

Filter was founded in 1991. Dentsu announced that it acquired Filter in January 2019.
