Jibe Inc. today announced Brian Cook as the recruitment technology company’s first chief financial officer, effective March 2. He is based in New York City.

Cook most recently was CFO at TOA Technologies, a mobile workforce management software firm that was acquired by Oracle. Before that, he held CFO and senior management positions in technology, media and investment banking, taking companies through IPOs or mergers and acquisitions in the US and Europe.

“Hiring Brian marks a distinct milestone in Jibe’s evolution,” said Jibe CEO Joe Essenfeld. “More than three million job applications for some of the best-known global brands will be processed through Jibe’s software this year. Brian’s experience working with ambitious, high-growth companies will be invaluable as we continue to mature and scale our infrastructure and operations to meet growing customer demand.”
