Toyota Mexico warns job seekers of new recruitment scam

Toyota Mexico again issued a warning on its website about a fraudulent recruitment scheme where job seekers are requested to pay money and hand over personal information.

The company said it does not request such payment and the only way to join the auto company is through direct contact or one of its recruitment business partners.

AM.com reported Feb. 1 that Toyota’s recruitment partners are Grupo Prodensa, Kelly Services Inc., WorkForce and Michael Page.

Toyota Mexico had previously reported an employment scam in July.
