TekPartners names new CEO; firm’s founders remain board members

IT staffing firm TekPartners promoted Jay Bevilacqua to CEO from the position of president. Harris Katz and Vito Scutero, founders and co-CEOs, will step down from the co-CEO roles but remain as founders and chairmen of the board.

“I have worked with Jay for over 20 years, so I know he is absolutely the right person for this role,” Katz said.

Bevilacqua has been with TekPartners for 16 years, growing the company from $1 million in revenue to this year when it expects $100 million in revenue.

TekPartners is part of P2P Co.; the company was founded 18 years ago. P2P sold its MedPartners healthcare staffing operation to AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AMN) in April 2018 for $195 million.
