Ingenovis Health buys Phoenix-based Springboard Healthcare

Ingenovis Health, the seventh-largest US healthcare staffing provider, acquired Springboard Healthcare, a healthcare travel staffing and education company headquartered in Phoenix.

Founded in 2002 by Gavin Hays, Springboard Healthcare provides nurses and allied health professionals to cardiac catheterization labs, electrophysiology labs and interventional radiology suites around the US. It offers both short- and long-term critical care coverage.

“We are thrilled to welcome Springboard to the Ingenovis Health family,” Ingenovis CEO Bart Valdez said. “Gavin, Catherine and team have built a tremendous value proposition as a highly specialized service provider, and the addition of Springboard strengthens Ingenovis’ portfolio of category-leading workforce solution providers.”

Springboard will remain headquartered in Phoenix. It will be led by Catherine Pearson, who has been appointed executive VP and general manager. Pearson previously served as chief operating officer and general counsel at Springboard.

“We are excited to leverage the resources and partnership of Ingenovis Health to pursue strategic growth opportunities and help address the critical demand for travel nurses and allied professionals,” Pearson said.

The terms of the transaction were not announced.

The deal is Ingenovis’ third in the past 12 months, following its acquisitions of HealthCare Support, a provider of clinical and non-clinical allied staffing services, and Vista Staffing Solutions, a leading provider of physician staffing services. Ingenovis’ brands also include trustaff, Fastaff and US Nursing.
