Health Advocates Network acquires nonclinical healthcare staffing provider Acclivity Healthcare

Health Advocates Network Inc., a healthcare staffing provider based in Boca Raton, Florida, acquired Acclivity Healthcare, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based provider of nonclinical supplemental staffing to hospitals and physician offices in the Southwest.

The acquisition closed on Oct. 11. Plans call for Acclivity Healthcare to operate as a separate division of Health Advocates Network.

Acclivity was founded by Ted and Cheri French in 1999.

“They, along with the exceptionally talented internal staffing professionals and field employees at Acclivity Healthcare, have built a unique, high-performing business over the last 20 years,” Health Advocates Network Chairman and CEO Kevin Little said.

Ted French will continue with the combined company.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.

“The acquisition of a well-established business like Acclivity Healthcare ideally complements our strategy of growing our non-clinical healthcare staffing division,” said Eddie Albert, director of M&A, Health Advocates Network. “We look forward to closing additional deals this year to scale both our fast-growing clinical and non-clinical staffing divisions.”

Albert noted Health Advocates Network will exit 2021 at an annual revenue run rate of nearly $50 million.
