Healthcare staffing provider Health Carousel announced that it acquired Medpath, a provider of in-house physician recruitment and HR services based in Trumbull, Connecticut.
Medpath was founded by Timothy Kouble in 2012. Plans call for the company to continue operating under its own brand as part of Health Carousel’s portfolio of locum tenens brands, joining NextLocums, Onyx M.D., Ludicity and Vitruvian Medical.

Medpath represents Health Carousel’s sixth acquisition in the locum tenens space since 2015. Health Carousel had ranked as the 15th-largest locum tenens staffing firm in the US in SIA’s most recent measure of company size.
