AMN Healthcare appoints corporate strategy exec

AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AHS), the largest US healthcare staffing firm, added Matthew Zubiller to its executive team as senior VP, corporate strategy.  Separately, Healthcare staffing provider Health Carousel named Earl Dalton as chief nursing officer.

Zubiller will help lead the development and expansion of AMN nationwide and report to AMN President and CEO Susan Salka. He will be actively involved in further evolving the AMN Healthcare enterprise strategy across all business units and corporate functions, according to the company.

Since 2005, Zubiller has held strategy and operating leadership roles at healthcare company McKesson Corp., including VP and general manager, growth portfolio and VP strategic growth and corporate development for McKesson Health Solutions; VP and general manager for its decision management business; and VP and general manager for its advanced diagnostics management business. McKesson currently ranks fifth in the Fortune 500 list of top public companies. Prior to McKesson, Zubiller worked globally in the healthcare and technology space as an entrepreneur and strategic advisor to growth stage and multinational corporations.
