World – Staffing Industry Analysts announces senior appointment

Staffing Industry Analysts, the global advisor on contingent work, is delighted to announce the appointment of Phil Grabfield as its new Vice President, Head of Marketing.

In his new role at Staffing Industry Analysts, Grabfield will oversee all marketing initiatives and will be responsible for driving the company’s growth globally by building the brand through strategic marketing programs, database marketing, conferences, and public relations. His experience includes executive marketing management roles in professional services, consulting assignments, developing brand strategy, and packaged goods marketing, both in the US and globally.

“Phil’s marketing leadership experience and background in Fortune 500 and professional service companies, spanning diverse industries and geographies, provides a strong complement to our executive team,” said Barry Asin, president of Staffing Industry Analysts. “As we continue to grow our organization globally, it is critical to have an experienced leader like Phil to drive awareness of our brand and to communicate our research expertise and core offerings to all parts of the staffing, recruitment and contingent work ecosystem.”

Prior to joining Staffing Industry Analysts, Grabfield was the US chief marketing officer of Mercer and also led the global marketing efforts for Mercer's health and benefits practice. Prior to Mercer, he worked as a marketing and brand consultant at Marketing Corporation of America and FutureBrand. He was also the marketing director at Bantam Doubleday Dell. He began his professional career with Kraft Foods where he had extensive experience in brand and product management, including three years as the head of marketing for Kraft Foods in Japan.

Grabfield earned a MBA from the Wharton School, a master’s degree in international studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in economics and Spanish from Trinity College.
