WDB Holdings Co. Ltd (2475: TYO), a Japanese holding company whose portfolio includes staffing firms, reported revenue on Friday increased by 4.3% in the nine months ended 31 December 2023 to JPY 37.28 billion (USD 249.9 million).

WDB Holdings is mainly engaged in the manpower dispatching business. The company operates in two business segments. The Human Resource Service segment is engaged in the work of client customers mainly through temporary staffing and contracting contracts. The CRO (Contract Research Organization) business segment acts on and supports experimental work in basic research of pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs, cosmetics and development work after clinical trial.
In the human resource service business (permanent placement and temporary dispatch), net sales were up 4.3% year on year. In the CRO business (contract research organisations services), net sales were up 4.9% year on year.
Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 51.00 billion (USD 341.86 million) for the year ended 31 March 2024.
