Veremark, a global pre-employment screening based in London, announced the acquisition of Employrite Pty and Employrite Ltd in Australia and New Zealand.

The effective date of the deal was 3 January. The price of the transaction was not disclosed.

Daniel Callaghan, CEO of Veremark, said, "Employrite had a long history of servicing several hundred clients that have all transitioned over to Veremark. The reason for the deal was Veremark's continued expansion across the APAC market with the intent on being the number one provider in the region. Employrite also held valued accreditations and client relationships with Australian governments and data sources."

The acquisitions aim to strengthen Veremark’s capabilities across Asia Pacific.

Employrite, a pre-employment screening agency, brings a blue-chip client base and a wealth of industry experience. The acquisition encompassed both the Australia and New Zealand books of businesses and IP.

Veremark, a web 3.0 company, continues to operate as a globally-distributed team with core hubs in the UK, USA, Australia, Singapore, India, and the Philippines servicing clients 24/7.
