Further to the announcement of 21 March 2011, IT staffing specialist, InterQuest Group Plc (ITQ:LSE), has announced that the appointment to the board of Mark Braund as Chief Executive Officer is effective as of today.

Gary Ashworth, previously joint CEO & Executive Chairman is now solely Executive Chairman.

Mark Andrew Braund (aged 49) has an interest in 167,000 ordinary shares of 1 Pence each in the company, representing 0.54% of the company's total issued share capital.

Braund holds and has held within the five preceding years the following directorships and partnerships:

First Advantage Europe Ltd.

First Advantage Hiring Management Systems Limited.

In addition, Braund was director of MCS Resource Limited which was dissolved on 15 January 2008 and director of Recruiternet (UK) Limited which was dissolved on 2 September 2009. Recruiternet (UK) Limited was a dormant company at the time Braund joined and at the time the business was dissolved.
