Japanese staffing firm JAC Recruitment announced the appointment of Kirsty Poltock as Managing Director of its Singapore operations with effect from 3 May 2021.

Poltock is a veteran of specialist permanent and contracting recruitment and worked at Page Personnel for more than 15 years.

“My focus will be on retaining our Japanese client base but also investing and building new relationships with MNC and SME clients,” Poltock said. “Investment in our contracting business will also be key to further growth in Singapore. By concentrating on both these areas my goal is for JAC Singapore to firmly secure market share and become the leading specialist professional recruitment firm in the country. I am excited to apply all the experience I have gained in the past 15 years to lead JAC Singapore and to leave my mark on the future of the group.”

According to JAC, the appointment is another clear step in JAC Group’s outward-looking future focus. It aims to boost its business footprint outside Japan.

According to SIA’s report Largest Staffing Firms in Japan and Market Overview report, JAC Recruitment is the 30th largest staffing firm in Japan based on 2019 revenue.
