Seek rebranding its Certsy credential passport

21 March 2024

Job board Seek is rebranding its Certsy credential passport, the Australia company announced on 19 March. The new brand will be Seek Pass, and the change will commence in the coming months.

The aim is to create an integrated experience for job seekers. The company noted Certsy is used by 2.5 million job seekers in Australia and New Zealand.

Both of Certsy’s offerings — the credential passport for individuals and the Certsy Workplace compliance platform for employers — will adopt the Seek Pass brand.

The company noted the brand change comes as the Australian government consults on the potential for a national skills passport.

“Specialist credential passport providers, like Seek Pass, are already supporting the efficient matching of millions of job seekers with job opportunities across Australia and New Zealand,” Kadi Taylor, Seek’s head of government relations, said in a press release. “From formal education and training qualifications, to right to work, driver’s licences and dozens of industry specific credentials — the labour market is well served by existing providers.”

Taylor continued, “We are looking forward to working with the government to help create an efficient and effective ecosystem for skills passports that highlight job seekers skills and helps them to stand out and to support employers in making informed decisions.”
