Persol, the Japanese staffing firm, announced it has invested in Axelspace Holdings Co., Ltd., the holding company of Axelspace Co., Ltd., a small satellite business.

The investment was made through Persol Venture Partners.

Through the investment, Axelspace will utilise Persol Group's recruitment support know-how to support the growth of Axelspace and space startups. Persol will support the recruitment of human resources for startups in the space field through Persol Venture Partners’ Employment Creation Fund.

Persol Venture Partners’ Employment Creation Fund invests in mega-ventures that will rapidly expand their organisations to over 1,000 people in the future.

Axelspace’s main business is in the Earth observation business using small satellites, proposal of solutions using small satellites, etc., design and manufacturing of small satellites and related components, launch arrangement and operational support/contract of small satellites. The company was established in 2008.
