Online staffing firm Upwork Inc. (NASDAQ: UPWK) appointed Erin Thomas as head of diversity, inclusion and belonging. Thomas joins Upwork from Paradigm Strategy Inc., a diversity and inclusion strategy firm. Prior to Paradigm, she has held positions at Grant Thornton LLP and Argonne National Laboratory. Thomas has a Doctor of Philosophy in social psychology from Yale University.

Caring Brands International announced that Carolina Lobo will serve as executive VP of people and brand at the company as well as its subsidiaries — Interim HealthCare Inc in the US, Bluebird Care in the UK and Ireland, and Just Better Care in Australia. Interim is a franchisor of home care, hospice and healthcare staffing. Its Bluebird Care and Just Better Care are franchisors of homecare services.

Mohan Narayanan has stepped down from the position of independent director of Trigyn Technologies Ltd. (TRIGYN:NSI), a provider of IT services and staffing, effective earlier this week, according to a regulatory filing. Narayanan has been associated with the company since 14 August 2013. Trigyn is based in Edison, New Jersey, and is traded on the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. and the BSE Ltd. stock exchange.
