People – Catenon, OECD, AD1 Holdings

Spain-based executive search firm Catenon announced that it has appointed Anchana Chandrasekharan as vice-president of Catenon India to strengthen its leadership team. Prior to joining Catenon she was director at Savills India. She also held leadership roles at Quikr and previously worked at EY and Housing.com. In her new role with Catenon she will lead the BFSI, technology, and infrastructure verticals, and her mandate is to grow the business in the region as part of the firm’s long-term growth strategy in India.

Clare Lombardelli has been appointed as the next Chief Economist of the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development), with effect from 2 May 2023. She is a highly regarded economic policy leader who joins the OECD with 20 years of experience in economic analysis and policy making in the UK, including as the Chief Economist at the UK Treasury and the Joint Head of the UK Government Economic Service over the past five years. Having started her career as an economist at the Bank of England, working on monetary policy and financial markets, she joined the UK civil service in 2005. Lombardelli has been a member of the Treasury’s Executive Management Board since 2015. She has also worked at 10 Downing Street and as a technical advisor for the International Monetary Fund. 

She will lead the OECD's economic analysis and policy advice to support Members to optimise the strength and the quality of economic development and growth.

The OECD also announced that Manal Corwin has been appointed to serve as the next Director of the OECD Centre for Tax Policy and Administration beginning 3 April 2023. Corwin has held senior tax policy positions in two separate US Administrations and having previously served as a delegate and then Vice Chair of the OECD Committee on Fiscal Affairs and as delegate to the Global Forum on Tax and Transparency.

Job search site AD1 Holdings (AD1:AU) announced that due to personal reasons, Andrew Henderson has resigned from the Board effective immediately. The Board will search for a new chair in due course. He is the founder of Phoenix IT & T Consulting Pty Ltd.
