People – Camino Partners, Almega, Resource Solutions, Hackajob, GLAA

Camino Partners, a London-based specialist recruitment consultancy placing back office to boardroom level staff into the recruitment and human capital sectors, announced that it has promoted Sachin Ruparelia to the role of CEO. Ruparelia was a founding member when Camino Partners launched seven years ago and has previously held posts as the Sales & Marketing Director and Joint Managing Director. His promotion will see him run the Camino Partners, Camino Executive & Camino Media brands.

Almega, the employer and trade organisation for the Swedish services sector announced that CEO Anna-Karin Hatt will step down from her role. Hatt has been CEO of Almega since 2015 and will assume her new duties as CEO of the Federation of Swedish Farmers (Lantbrukarnas Riksförbund) on August 2019. Almega Board of Directors has begun the process of finding a successor to Anna-Karin Hatt.

Separately, Almega also announced that it had appointed Patrick Joyce as new chief economist. He is set to begin his role on February 2019. Joyce was previously a researcher on the supply of skills, labour market and integration at the Ratio Institute, a research institute focusing on enterprise.

Resource Solutions, a provider of Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Managed Service Provider (MSP) solutions with office in London, Singapore and New York, announced that it has appointed Simon Bradberry as Managing Director for the EMEA and the Americas regions. Bradberry has 25 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, including the past seven years leading Resource Solutions’ rapidly expanding operations across APAC, where he has built the recruitment outsourcing business’ scope to cover 14 countries.

Hackajob, a London-based tech recruitment platform, announced that it has appointed Matt Holmes as Chief Commercial Officer. Holmes was previously managing director at UK-based IT recruitment agency Onezeero, part of the Impellam Group. Holmes brings 14 years of experience in technical recruitment.

The Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) announced that it has appointed Suzanne McCarthy as its newest Board Member. McCarthy is the UK's former Immigration Services Commissioner and has held several senior positions in her career, including Chief Executive of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. She has also worked at the Treasury and Home Office, where she was private secretary to two Home Secretaries.
