New Zealand – Accordant Group founding chairman to step down, chief executive to take executive director role

06 April 2021

Accordant Group Ltd. (AGL:NZC) announced last month that founding Chairman Ross Keenan will step down during the 2021-2022 financial year, and Chief Executive Simon Bennett will join the board as executive director. A new CEO is in the process of being recruited.

The Auckland-based staffing firm also announced that major shareholder and non-independent director Simon Hull has confirmed his support for the transition process and his commitment to the growth and diversity of the company. Hull noted the recent appointment of independent director Laurissa Cooney as a first step in a generational shift of governance at the staffing firm.

Accordant expects to announce financial results for its 2020-2021 financial year in the last week of May.
