ManpowerGroup China CFO resigns, search underway for successor

ManpowerGroup Greater China announced on Friday that Tang Jiayi resigned as the chief financial officer of the company. The board said Jiayi would like to devote more time to his personal commitments.

Jiayi would cease to be the chief financial officer of the company with effect from 30 September 2023. He confirmed that he had no disagreement with the board.

Following his resignation, the company is in the process of identifying suitable candidates to fill the vacancy.

Prior to the appointment of the new CFO of the company, Zhang Tiantian, the group’s vice president of finance who joined ManpowerGroup China in 2016 and has been responsible for overseeing financial reporting, planning, and forecasting, accounting, tax, treasury matters of the group, will continue to be responsible for such duties so that the operations of the group regarding financial aspects would be properly managed and monitored. Zhang has approximately 20 years of working experience in financial management, project management and operational management.

Last month, ManpowerGroup Greater China reported revenue rose by 13.5% for the six-month period ended 30 June 2023.
